IMSI

IMSI (intracytoplasmic morphologically-selected sperm injection) is a modification of the ICSI technique, whereby a single spermatozoon is injected into the oocyte.

Through the technique of IMSI the embryologist, using a high magnification optical system, is able to monitor sperm morphology with far greater accuracy.

Studies show that this technique leads to higher pregnancy rates.
